Dexter cattle are the  smallest native breed of cattle found in Britain. They are half the size of commercial beef animals and they take twice as long to mature.

A hardy breed, they can live out all year and thrive on a natural diet of grass and hay.

The breed originated in Ireland as a crofters cow, duel purpose providing the family with good rich milk and tender tasty beef.

Raised on their natural diet of grass the meat is well marbled, fine textured, exceptionally tender and an attractive colour.

There can be few finer beef eating experiences than Dexter beef:

•The natural taste of grass fed beef

•Superb marbling –ensuring beef stays tender during cooking

•Rich in omega 3 un-saturated fats

•21 day maturing ensures deep flavour –whilst marbling provides buttery /nutty flavours

•Small convenient joint sizes

If you want 100% taste –insist on 100% Dexter
